Simply Witchery Spell: Pyramid of Protection

Today I want to share a ritual spell that I developed the other day to create some personal protection that moves with you no matter where you go. I'm calling it the pyramid of protection. It's primarily a visualization spell but I popped in a candle as well to add in some extra oomph. The only thing you really need for this spell is your mind. All the other materials below are optional tools for this one. If you struggle with visualization like I do I find that it helps to write down what you're about visualize. I personally like to make that a part of the spell but you can do it beforehand as well.

Materials -quiet space in which to meditate and visualize -a power source for your pyramid -a candle (a tealight will do, I used white but any color you associate with protection will do) -pen and paper -music

Spell Work: 1) Place your candle in the center of your workspace and light it.

2) Again writing anything down is optional but this is what I wrote down: a glowing ball of white energy floats above my head and casts a glowing pyramid of light around me protecting my mind, body, and spirit. This ball is powered by candle light and the strength of the four elements, earth before me, air to my right hand, fire at my back, and water to my left hand. Energy cannot cling to me unless I will it so. I can feel and interpret that which comes to me but it slides away as soon as I release it. I am safe. I am protected.'

Feel free to use my words but if you are able write something that is particular and special to you. In my opinion it will make your spell more powerful if you customize it to your exact needs and practice.

3) Now its time to tie your pyramid to a power source. I do this with protection spells so that they are a little more set it and forget it and so I'm not personally drained by the spell doing its job. I tied my pyramid to the four elements and the general power of candle light. I evoked the elements as I usually do, using a chant/poem spoken to each cardinal direction and to candle light by visualizing the qualities of candle light in general. It's important to distinguish general candle light from the light that is currently lit in your workspace. In theory my pyramid is powered by every candle that is ever lit because I tied it to the abstract idea of a lit candle. If you tie it to the candle you're using right now the power ends when the candle goes out. Keep that in mind as you work.

4) Finally, I laid my writing in the glow of the candle light and played music to the spell and allowed the candle to burn out naturally. Remember to use basic fire safety here it's also fine to just blow out the candle when you're finished if you don't have the time to sit and watch the candle burn.
